How are porcelain crowns and bridges made
Patients often ask how are porcelain crowns and bridges made.?
Before the laboratory staff can make a crown or bridge our dentist must reduce the size of the tooth in order for the crown or bridge to fit over it.
Once this part of the process is completed we take an impression so that our laboratory technician can can make a mould for the crowns or bridge.
Porcelain crowns or bridges once completed can mimic the exact colour of the natural teeth.
Whilst our in house laboratory technician is working on making the porcelain crowns and bridges a temporary set are placed by our dentist.
