More on crowns for teeth

Let’s have a more detailed look at the best dental crowns for teeth.

We shall delve into the types of crowns available, their pros and cons.

We will compare the cost of treatment in Ireland versus Hungary and show you the potential savings.

What are dental crowns

Dental crowns are a well-established and highly effective solution for restoring and improving the appearance of damaged or discolored teeth.

In essence dental crowns are used throughout dental clinics across the world to restore badly decayed, chipped or cracked teeth.

In addition a dental crown is frequently used by dentists where a dental implant has been placed.

On top of the dental implant an abutment is screwed into the implant, then a dental crown is added onto the top of the abutment.

Dental crowns for teeth are created in our laboratory at Perfect Smile Dental Clinic to neatly fit over the entire affected tooth.

  1. This well-written article provides useful information for choosing the best dental crown based on aspects like as durability, appearance, and cost.

As someone interested in dental care, I found the essay to be very useful. It explores several crown alternatives, including as ceramic, porcelain-fused-to-metal, and zirconia, and explains their differences and advantages. However, while the page provides a solid summary, more information on the longevity of each crown type and maintenance advice would increase its worth.
What aspects should people consider when selecting a dental crown, and how can they assure the longevity of their chosen type?

    • Hi Kiersti,

Thank you, dental crowns are quite strong and can last up to 15 years or more. However they do need regular daily cleaning with a flouride toothpaste and electric toothbrush. In addition we recommend daily flossing with a quality flossing system, we also recommend that our patients come to our clinic in Wexford for regular check-ups. Thank you Fintan
